laurie anderson- o superman

i cant even begin to describe the influence laurie anderson had on freaking my young impressionable mind. this video is from 1981, which would have made me 8 when i first saw it, and i have loved it since. house heads should try to check out the M.A.N.D.Y. remix of this song.

adrian belew- three of a perfect pair

another adrian belew performance- this one is a great example of why the adrian belew performaces i have seen were some of the best concert experiences i ever had. hes an absolute joy to watch, always seems to have such a great time on stage, not to even mention just how frickin talented the guy is.

bicycle furniture

great idea here, using old bike parts to create furniture. theres definitely a couple design "misses" here, but also some solid hits, for sure.

classic bones brigade skate vid from 1985 featuring the likes of tony hawk, rodney mullen, steve caballero, ad more actin like damn fools as only a bunch of professional teenage skaters from the 80s could. this was my favorite skate video when i was a kid, mostly due to the new york street skating footage about 35 minutes in, classic. not to mention all the amazing 80s fashion goodness. i cant believe people ever wore this shit. i cant believe i ever wore some of that shit. anyone who thinks 80s fashion was cool should watch this shit, cause you are sadly mistaken.jams and hot pink evvvvverywhere.
